Public walks are 1.5-3 hour sessions (depending on the season) and can range from 3 to 10 participants. These walks are offered on weekends and evenings. They are generally for ages 14+ and are geared toward adults (unless specified as a 'family walk').
In addition to the health & wellness benefits of this nature connection practice, a public forest therapy walk is a unique way to meet like-minded members of your community. It creates the space to be heard and to consider the experiences & stories of others. I've had many participants tell me what a deep shift in perspective the walk was for them. They may come to the trail as strangers, but many leave the woods as friends who have shared something truly special. Click here to read more about what to expect on a forest bathing session.
